You want to feel confident using a woven wrap, but need practical instruction
You've been curious about woven wraps but felt unsure where to start
You’re looking for a carrier that feels more supportive as your baby grows
You’d like supportive, non-judgmental guidance from someone who’s been there
What you’ll gain:
Woven Wrap Confidence
Learn how to securely and comfortably wrap, adjust, and support your baby in a woven wrap.
Practice positioning your baby, tightening the wrap, and adjusting for different ages and seasons
Real Support—Real Results
Leave with the skills and understanding to begin using your woven wrap at home, with greater ease, confidence, and connection in your daily life with your baby.
Learn different carrying options that distributes weight more evenly and feels comfortable for longer periods
This is a small, supportive, and hands-on workshop designed to help you feel confident getting started with a woven wrap.
Over the course of our 2 hours together, you’ll be guided through the foundations of safe and comfortable babywearing, including positioning, creating a secure seat, and understanding how to manage tension in the wrap.
We’ll focus on learning a Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC) step-by-step, with plenty of time to practice, repeat, and ask questions along the way.
This is not a demonstration-only class—you’ll be actively learning, with individual guidance and support throughout.
Babies are always welcome. There is space and flexibility to feed, change, and respond to your baby’s needs at any point during the workshop. Demo dolls will also be available for those who are pregnant or prefer to practice without their baby.
You’re welcome to bring your own woven wrap, or use one of the wraps provided.
No prior experience is needed—this workshop is designed for beginners and paced to support real learning, not perfection.
You’ll leave with a foundational understanding of woven wrapping and the confidence to begin practicing at home in a way that feels comfortable and supportive for both you and your baby.

"Karla helped me achieve a comfortable carry in my ring sling for the first time and I was able to do a 1.5 hr contact nap with my 4 month old without being in pain / discomfort. Karla was such a great listener, tailored her advice to my specific concerns, and offered tips with grace and kindness. Thank you Karla!"

I’m a mama of five with a deep passion for supporting parents through their postpartum journeys, especially through the art and practice of babywearing.
I fell in love with woven wraps with my second baby, and they’ve been my favourite carriers ever since.
At that stage of motherhood, the learning curve was exactly what I needed—it brought a sense of creativity and engagement to the rhythm of daily life with two little ones. Exploring new carries and tying styles became something I genuinely looked forward to.
Diving into the world of woven wraps has been such a meaningful part of my journey, and I’m so excited to share it with you.
